Grandsons of Abraham
me being a christian once, i passed through reading the jewsish history... and as the old testament includes a huge part of the torrah, i passed through reading their religion as well. i wonder how "God" would announce his presence to some group of people and forbid it to be spread to the other nations? or how would a supposedly loving god permit "his nation" to slaughter another people of his creation?
i sometimes start to wonder whether it was really holly commands that made them go to where isreal is now, kill the people who already lived there, and establish their own country? the simplest human rights law considers that as "terrorism" or street fights... how would a creator be that cruel to his creation and favors some of them and indirectly not favoring the others? dividing humans into believers and non believers in some religious coating!
i just couldn't go long reading such a bloody history through the old testament... killing and slaughtering and forsaking each other. if such actions were done today, they'd be included under the definition of "war crimes".
